ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Christopher Carmody has been instructing pilots for over a decade in various aircraft models. As a demonstration pilot for one of the oldest Piper distributors in the world, he performs test flights on new aircraft at the Piper factory. Christopher also provides training and mentor pilot services for new PA-46 aircraft owners. Having worked with Piper aircraft owners for several years, Christopher is thoroughly familiar with all PA-46 aircraft in which he provides initial and recurrent training.
Christopher got his start in aviation at Parks College of Engineering and Aviation at Saint Louis University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science / Professional Pilot and in Aviation Management with a Business Certificate. He then pursued a career in aviation through flight instruction, which led to a position managing a flight school in the Midwest. There he developed and taught a Piper PA-32 recurrent training course, Avidyne Entegra course and Garmin GNS 430/530 primary and advanced courses. Christopher was also a jump pilot at a skydive drop zone and flew aerial photography. His passion for aviation and flying encouraged him to start his own business training PA-46 pilots. He has 100% pass rate for students pursuing new FAA certificates and ratings.
Also, he is an active Kansas City Business Aviation Association Board Member and an Eagle Scout.
Most recently Christopher attained his Seaplane rating and ran his first marathon.
